Traverso Fingering is an interactive fingering chart for the Baroque flute, also know as the traverso. The app displays standard, alternate and trill fingerings.
You first select a note by touching and dragging over the staff and/or hitting the arrows. Then select the buttons for various note options (basic, alternate, trill) and the will display the fingering. The app also displays hints and suggestions describing the fingering. For example some fingerings will play sharp and may be useful for quieter passages.
Different models by different makers of traversos will often vary as to optimal fingerings for some notes, especially for the alternate fingerings. But this app provides a good start, sometimes offering multiple alternates, one of which may work well on your instrument.
